Today , I will introduce you one of my favorite african breakfast. In fact, this recipe is considered in lot of West African countries especially Côte d’Ivoire , Senegal and even Ghana , as a breakfast’dish since its components provide you the sufficient energy you need to start a good day . Also, this dish can be eat at dinner time it depends of you. When eating this dish , you will feel like it contains a mosaïc of taste since it is a mix of the sweet taste of peas, the salted taste of the potatos and the grilled taste of the meat. I specify that you can use the type of meat you want for this recipe and use sweet potatoes as a substitute for the potatoes, the choice is totally given to you. In the town’streets of the African countries I have enumerated above , women in the morning are selling it to the passerby at $4 if I convert the price and put it in well done french bread , hmmmmm talking about that , makes me remember each morning back in Africa before going to school when my mother were making me a sandwich with this dish, that was the “belle epoque” ☺️.
Ingredients:
2 cans of peas
1 garlic
1 orange pepper
2 ognons
3 tomatoes
persley
5 golden potatoes
black pepper
1 to 2 lbs of beef’s meat
oil
Preparation:
– Cut the tomatoes , the ognons , the beef and the potatoes in a square shape.
– Then mix the persley, the garlic and the orange pepper together , you will obtain a kind of green mixture that you will set a side
– In a hallow pan, heat the oil ahd when it ist hot, roast the potatoes and set a side
– In the same oil you used to roast the potatoes you will roast the meat too and set a side
– In a pan, you will put a little bit of oil and when it is hot , you add the ognons and the tomatoes you’ve cut at the biginning , you saut it for about 5 minutes while adding salt and black pepper
– Then , you will add the peas and saut it for 10 more minutes
– After that, you will add the green mixture( garlic,persley and orange pepper) for adding more flavour to it
-Then , you add the beef and a little bit of water and you cover it and put it at medium fire for about 10 minutes
– After that you add the potatoes and let the whole dish cooked for about 10 more minute and then, voila it is ready.
– As I said above you can eat it with well done french bread or you can put it in a tacos braid and put it in the oven for about 5 minutes of bake ( 360 F) and eat it , I swear you will like it

This looks so good! I love dishes like this where you can throw it all in one pan together. I may try this out next time we go camping! We do a few dishes similar to this one.
